Teaching

We serve as Distinguished String Quartet in Residence and on the string faculty of the University of Delaware. We also direct the UD Graduate String Quartet Fellowship program which is a two year fully funded master’s degree program for intensive string quartet studies. Auditions will be held in January 2025 for Fall 2025 enrollment.

Every January we present the Calidore String Quartet Seminar at the University of Delaware. The CSQ Seminar is tuition-free and applications are open to all serious college-age string quartets and solo violin, viola and cello students ages 12 and older. Past guest artists include cellist David Finckel and violinist and pedagogue Almita Vamos. Please visit the link below for information about studying with us at UD or attending our CSQ Seminar in January.

For summer study, you can often find us teaching and performing at the Music@Menlo Festival in Atherton, CA during July/August. You can learn more by clicking this link.
